This big leader of BJP will be the next national president of BJP, RSS has put its stamp on it, wave of happiness runs among BJP supporters
Union Agriculture Minister and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s recent meeting with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has become a topic of discussion in political circles. This meeting is being linked to the upcoming national president election of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), due to which Chouhan’s name has started emerging prominently among the potential candidates for the post of president.
Important meeting after two years
This meeting of Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Mohan Bhagwat took place after a gap of almost two years. On Sunday evening, both the leaders talked for about 45 minutes in a closed room at the Sangh office ‘Keshavkunj’ in Delhi. According to sources, this meeting remained completely confidential and immediately after this Chouhan left for Delhi Airport.
Chouhan reached the Sangh office directly from the program.
Earlier, Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended a program of Gayatri Parivar at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, where Dr. Chinmay Pandya and Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat were also present on the stage with him. After the program, he reached the Sangh office directly and after the meeting left for Bhopal, where he will attend the convocation of IISER, Bhopal on Monday.
Signs of change in BJP organization
There has been uncertainty in the BJP regarding the post of national president for the last one year. It is believed that the election of the party president can be completed after the vice-president election to be held in September. Efforts to complete this process before September 28 have intensified. In such a situation, the meeting of Chauhan and Bhagwat is being seen as a sign of organizational change.
Political analysts’ view
Political analysts believe that the lack of coordination between the Sangh and the BJP leadership has been the reason for the delay in the election of the president. Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s meeting with the Sangh chief is being considered an important step towards this coordination, which has further strengthened the possibilities of change in the top leadership of the party.
