The judge of the High Court of this state of India used to ask obscene questions to women, now people are happy to know the punishment given by the court.

The Kerala High Court has ordered the transfer of a Family Court judge on charges of objectionable behavior and obscene comments with women. Judge Udayakumar V of Chavara Family Court has been ordered to be transferred to Kollam Motor Accident Claims Tribunal.

According to the report of Bar and Bench, a woman had written a letter to the Principal District Judge of Kollam and made serious allegations against the judge. The woman had said that during counseling, the judge sexually abuses women and makes obscene comments. According to the information, Judge Prasanna Gopalan of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal in Kollam has been transferred to the Family Court.

The Registrar of the District Court has issued an order for mutual transfer of both. The Administrative Committee of the High Court has also ordered an inquiry into this matter. The court can take further action based on the report.

Let us tell you that the problems occurring in the family are resolved in the Family Court. It was established under the Family Court Act of 1984. The responsibility of the family court is to settle family disputes, marriage and divorce related cases.

Before the establishment of family courts, domestic cases were also brought to the district court. Family courts were established in view of the burden on the courts and delay in hearing. Cases related to inheritance and child adoption are also settled in the family court. If the problem is not resolved in the family court, it is sent for mediation. If the solution is not found here also, it is transferred to the higher court.
